U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing
Quatrefoil developed content; designed exhibits, graphics and activities; and fabricated this 10,000-square-foot exhibition for the Bureau in collaboration with the USDA Visual Communication Center. In addition to the permanent exhibits, the visitor experience includes a tour of the currency-printing facility, a 75-seat HD auditorium and a retail shop. The first floor of the tour focuses on the history of the bureau and counterfeiting through artwork, artifacts and live printing press and engraving demonstrations. The second-level exhibits provide a behind-the-scenes look at the printing process with tactile models, multimedia challenges and videos in which Bureau employees share their craft and stories.
