The Textile Museum

At The Textile Museum, located at George Washington University in Washington, DC, visitors learn the fundamentals of fiber, color, and structure in designing textiles. The space is interactive and maximizes flexibility to serve as both a classroom and a self-guided exhibit. The interactives and featured items from the education collection encourage visitors to use their sense of touch, critical for textile appreciation.

Quatrefoil collaborated with the museum staff and a team of artists to create a display about basics of woven, felt and knit fabrics. Graphics and interactive components were designed to be easy to change, from the removable graphic panels to the hanging textile system.
