St. Luke and Odd Fellows Hall
The experiences designed for the St. Luke and Odd Fellows Hall focuses on the history of New Town, a predominantly Black community in Blacksburg, Virginia. The Hall was paid for and built by residents and functioned as the heart of their community. The experiences Quatrefoil designed turn the museum inside out, with interactives and graphic systems embedded into the surrounding environment and activating the building at night with “storytelling streetlamps” and projections of historic figures and quotes onto the building.
