Annapolis Maritime Village

The Annapolis Maritime Museum is expanding to include the Ellen O. Moyer Nature Park at Back Creek as the home of the Annapolis Maritime Village. Quatrefoil worked with the museum to plan a strategy for ecological learning and to create memorable encounters on the Chesapeake Bay.

The entire park is an immersive educational facility including hiking paths, native plantings, pocket parks, woodlands, and a beach. The existing education classrooms will be outfitted with habitats and observation equipment for deeper dives into the science of the bay. A pavilion will accommodate special events and functions year-round.

The Annapolis Maritime Village is an asset to the local community, encouraging return visits and inspiring visitors to become environmental stewards.
